What you will learn...

For each module, select two (2) Advanced Courses.

Complete ten (10) Arno Profile System (APS) counselor reports.

For each module, select two (2) Advanced Courses.

Complete fifteen (15) Arno Profile System (APS) counselor reports.

For each module, select two (2) Advanced Courses.

Complete ten (10) Arno Profile System (APS) counselor reports.

For each module, select two (2) Advanced Courses.

Meet Final Program Requirements

  1. Complete a practicum. This consists of administering the Arno Profile System to thirty-five (35) persons in the student’s community and are not the same profiles used to obtain the Master’s degree. This practicum will be completed under the supervision of your Clinical Supervisor.
  2. The NCCA License upgrade fee, from the Master’s level to the Doctorate level, is included in the student tuition. 
  3. Provide required documentation.
  4. Complete individual reports (case studies) developed from the candidate’s work with 35 persons using the Arno Profile System reports. Format provided by Academy and these reports will comprise the thesis requirement and will be submitted to the NCCA for grading.
  5. Background check completed ($100 fee included in tuition).
  6. A ministerial credential is required by the end of Phase II. This comprises one of commissioning, licensing or ordination. The NCCA suggests options for gaining that if not already held by the student. This credential is not required to apply or begin the program.
  7. Licensing level at the completion of the program will be: “NCCA-Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor-Advanced Certification“.
