I completed the Bachelors and Masters Degree Program in Clinical Christian Counseling through the Above & Beyond Counseling Academy.
I never thought that I would be able to accomplish this in my lifetime and am thrilled that I moved forward with these classes.
“I am extremely grateful for the education I have received through the Bachelors and Masters program offered by the N.C.C.A. God has used this remarkable tool to help me understand the clinical interpretation of Temperament that resides in everyone.”
“Christian testimony is important in describing the continual process by which the Holy Spirit indwells, leads, guides, and molds us into mature Christians. With that said, I consider it a privilege to share my experiences in becoming a Clinical Christian Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association Program (N.C.C.A.), facilitated by Dr. Don Ibbitson of Above and Beyond Counseling Academy.
“I recently acquired my Master’s Degree in Christian counseling through the NCCA.
Dr. Don Ibbitson was my advisor and was a great help to me. He made the whole process much easier than it might have been. He was always available and ready to answer any questions I had. He was also a good encourager when I needed it.”
“During the tenure of my nursing career as a psychiatric nurse, I had a passion to help my patients who were hopeless and depressed. I had helped many of them through scriptures and prayers . I felt a strong calling to help the hurting families through counseling.”
… Highly recommended and supportive. Testimonials of others who have gone through their ministry and courses and compassion shown by Dr. Ibbitson.
… I am very satisfied with having completed this program through Above & Beyond Counseling Academy since it is based on the Word of God….
….I have been a lay counselor for several years and wanted to gain more insight and wisdom regarding pastoral counseling.
God had been preparing me for most of my life to help His people understand and draw closer to Him. His timing and deep sense of calling brought me to the decision to pursue a Master’s Degree that would equip me and afford credibility to practice Christian Counseling….
I felt the Lord was calling me … Don, was very prompt in responding to questions and grading. He was very encouraging as I completed the program…
I like all the programs and the staff encouraged me through all. I saw this school and tools love Jesus and equipping those to do faith Based counseling and to minister to others….
The Lord literally lead me to A & B while on a sabbatical. I had been accepted at a secular institution for a Masters in Counseling. The Lord told me “no” to the secular education. I submitted to Him and cancelled with the university. Two weeks later, info about A & B Academy fell in my lap.
Why did you select Above & Beyond Counseling Academy as your school?
I was referred by a friend at church who was encouraging me to get my Deliverance ministry credentials. After researching several options, I believed that Above and Beyond was the best fit for me, and was very affordable.
“My original pursuit of the Masters degree which led to the PhD. was recognizing the gift God had waiting for me in counselling. For years people would ask my advice and even line up at my desk in the corporate world. God wrote the desire on my heart to counsel His word with wisdom and that was going to take some training to do it with excellence.”
“As a Deliverance Minister, I realized that the instruction I received from N.C.C.A. Could enhance the ministry! I could see that the study of temperament counseling could give me a better understanding of my clients.”
After serving in ministry for over thirty years. I wanted to be certified as a Biblical Christian Counselor and to be a member of the National Christian Counseling Association, so I could better serve my church community.
As an assistant Pastor at church and a school manager at a school, I meet many people everyday. I see and hear how people (believers and non-believers alike) struggle and suffer on a daily basis. I feel a strong desire to help and to assist them with the challenges of daily living. I have also found that people often seem to feel comfortable confiding in me. I am convinced that God has called me to be a part of His ministry in helping to heal the broken and to set the captives free. I figured the best way to start doing it would be to be properly equipped and trained as a Professional Christian Counselor.
Why did you decide to pursue a degree/licensing in Christian Counseling?
Obedience to His calling to Christian counseling and using my testimony to guide others.
