Why did you decide to pursue a Masters degree/licensing in Christian Counseling?
To serve the Lord and to minister with His gifts to both believers and non- believers; in other words, to set the captives free in the love of God.
Why did you select Above & Beyond Counseling Academy as your school?
Because I know that its Dean is a man of God, who exercises His gifts and who also the fruit of the Spirit is manifested in his life. He serves the Lord and leads others to Christ and strives to deliver them from the kingdom of darkness. Regarding the Academy, it provides flexibility for the completion of the program since one can work at one’s own pace.
Moreover, the lectures and curriculum are based on the Word of God and provide the learner with sound knowledge in the Truth in order to prepare and equip the future counselor to become an effective servant. The program is also affordable when compared with other counseling programs.
What was your overall experience with the training?
I am very satisfied with having completed this program through Above & Beyond Counseling Academy since it is based on the Word of God.
Which teachings or aspects of the program did you enjoy the most?
The “Creation Therapy” course was one of the most interesting teachings as well as the one on anger and depression.
What have you done (or plan to do) with your degree/licensing?
I plan to work in the near future as a professional Christian counselor and wherever the Lord takes me to minister to the needy.
Any suggestions you would make to potential students who are considering this training?
A deep thirst for divine justice to set the captives free and a pure motivation to serve the Lord are needed in order to embark in this journey, knowing that the Lord will supply all that is needed in order for His will to be fulfilled.
I encourage you to be part of this program if God has placed in your heart the burning desire to serve Him and has appointed this program for your completion. May God bless you and prosper you as you make room in your heart so that His calling takes shape and flourishes.
